ACCESSIBILITY & LOCATION:

Nestled a brief drive away from Kogatende Airstrip, Kaskaz is positioned in the northern part of the Serengeti, close to the Mara River.

LODGING & AMENITIES AT KASKAZ MARA CAMP:

The primary spaces at Kaskaz Mara are situated within a spacious communal tent. The lounge features a variety of cozy sofas and armchairs, complete with a fireplace that’s perfect for those cooler evenings! The dining tent features several spacious wooden tables accompanied by straight-backed chairs. The overall style embodies the essence of Africa, featuring a blend of natural hues complemented by vibrant accents. Visitors have the option to enjoy meals outside, whether it’s breakfast, lunch, or dinner. In the evening, lanterns are suspended from the trees, creating a delightful atmosphere!

Kaskaz Mara offers a selection of eight tented suites for guests to enjoy. These offer ample space and a high level of comfort. Every unit features a veranda complete with a table, comfortable seating, a hammock, and breathtaking views of the Serengeti’s undulating plains! Within the space, you’ll find a generously sized double bed or twin beds, a luxurious lounge area, a writing desk accompanied by a chair, and plenty of storage options. Every en-suite features a modern flush toilet, dual washbasins, and a lavish shower experience. The tents offer a delightful airy ambiance, featuring spacious netted windows adorned with cotton curtains, which invite a refreshing flow of air inside. Each option can be tailored to meet the needs of guests – whether it’s a family vacation, a romantic getaway, or anything else you desire!

Join our expertly guided game drives in the central Serengeti, offered twice daily. This is a fantastic chance to observe the local wildlife, including all of the Big Five, as well as cheetahs, caracals, servals, giraffes, zebras, antelopes, monkeys, olive baboons, pangolins, porcupines, and so much more!
The Great Wildebeest Migration occurs from July to October, when this area welcomes the renowned spectacle of vast herds of wildebeest and other herbivores as they traverse the Mara River in pursuit of grazing opportunities.
Kaskaz Mara offers exhilarating hot air balloon safaris for an unforgettable experience. The day starts at 6:00am with a delightful champagne breakfast after a two-hour flight. While there is an additional fee for this experience, it truly offers a remarkable view of the Serengeti from above!
The children at Kaskaz benefit greatly from the exceptional guiding provided by the camp. The guides possess extensive knowledge and are always eager to address any inquiries, enhancing the overall experience of all activities. They engage effectively with both adults and children – kids aged 6 and up are invited to Kaskaz Mara, and during the low season, families of four or more are assured a private safari vehicle!
