We recommend securing your reservation early to ensure you don’t miss out! The accommodation is offered on a full board basis, encompassing meals, all beverages (including premium wines, spirits, and liqueurs), game drives, and walking safaris led by a knowledgeable guide. It also includes return road transfers between the Sasakwa airstrip and the lodge, as well as laundry services.

ENTRY & POSITION:

Visitors arriving at Singita Faru Faru Lodge usually take a flight to Sasakwa Airstrip in Grumeti Reserve, where a member of the Singita team greets them and provides transportation to the lodge. For those flying directly, the journey takes about 1 hour from Arusha or around 1 hour and 15 minutes from Kilimanjaro International Airport.

At Singita Faru Faru Lodge, guests can choose from seven one-bedroom suites, a family suite perfect for two adults and two children, and a remarkable two-bedroom suite featuring a private pool. Chic and modern, featuring understated, natural tones inspired by winter grasses and pink river clay, the suites offer bright, open-plan layouts with large windows spanning one side of the bedroom, showcasing views of the treeline along the Grumeti river. Every option includes air conditioning, ceiling fans, a minibar and refrigerator, a tea and coffee station, a digital safe, a hairdryer, a telescope, and a direct-dial telephone. King-sized beds positioned at the front are adorned with luxurious linens beneath elegantly designed dome-shaped mosquito nets. The combined sitting spaces offer picturesque vistas, while a wooden divider distinguishes each bedroom from the bathroom and dressing area. This space is equipped with hanging storage and shelving, a wicker basket, luxurious freestanding bathtubs with scenic views, dual basins, an outdoor shower, and a private toilet cubicle. Every suite includes a covered outdoor sala equipped with sun loungers. The family suite features a cozy interleading en-suite bedroom, perfect for kids, along with a spacious two-bedroom suite that includes two equally sized bedrooms, a communal living area, and a pool deck equipped with sun loungers and shaded areas.

The central lodge features a dining area, bar, and lounge, all with views of the waterhole, complemented by a Singita signature ‘bar-deli’ where guests can enjoy casual outdoor dining. Experience the thrill of game drives in our modern, open-sided safari vehicles, accommodating up to six guests. Join us for morning and afternoon excursions that often extend into the evening, allowing you to witness the enchanting nocturnal wonders of the Serengeti. Singita’s guides are among the finest in the area, ensuring an exhilarating experience with fresh discoveries every day. You can expect to encounter lions, leopards, elephants, cheetahs, Maasai giraffes, buffalo, gazelles, and possibly even a bat-eared fox or the elusive Colobus monkey.
Join us for guided walking safaris, where an expert field guide will lead you through the bush. Experience the thrill of tracking animals on foot, observing fascinating insects, diverse plant life, and a variety of birds, all while immersing yourself in the stunning natural landscape around you. The lodge recommends that participants be at least 16 years old for this activity, although the final decision rests with the field guide.
Experience the breathtaking beauty of the Serengeti at sunrise with hot air ballooning. In collaboration with Serengeti Balloon Safaris, guests can take to the skies for a unique aerial view of this stunning landscape. Kindly be aware that this activity requires an additional fee and it is advisable to make a reservation ahead of time to ensure availability.
Birdwatching enthusiasts will find themselves delighted by the extensive array of species available at Singita Serengeti. Keep an eye out for the grey kestrel, Meyer’s parrot, grey-crowned crane, African cuckoo, martial eagle, pin-tailed whydah, and a variety of stunning sunbirds.
Stargazing – The views of the star constellations are exceptionally clear due to minimal light pollution, making it a worthwhile experience to take the time to observe the breathtaking night skies of the Serengeti.
Community visits – With Singita overseeing over 350,000 acres of the Serengeti ecosystem, the collaboration with the Grumeti Fund plays a crucial role in implementing wildlife conservation and community development initiatives within and surrounding the Singita Grumeti Reserve. Collaborating with the residents of the 21 villages adjacent to Singita Grumeti, we tackle matters concerning education, management of natural resources, development of enterprises, and water management. We warmly invite guests to explore these communities and witness the success of these projects firsthand.
Visit to the anti-poaching observation post – Discover the dedicated anti-poaching scouts of the Singita Grumeti Fund and gain insight into their daily lives and efforts. Discover how they monitor the expansive 350,000-acre private concession, communicate with the anti-poaching team, and protect the wildlife. This property is not enclosed and is situated in a wildlife region, meaning that large and potentially hazardous animals may roam through the area. If you choose to stay here, please remain vigilant while moving around the camp and feel free to ask a staff member to accompany you if you have any worries. It is standard practice to escort all guests after dark.
