EXPERIENCES AT SERENGETI SAFARI CAMP:

Serengeti Safari Camp emphasizes immersive game drives, highlighting the spectacular Great Migration of the Serengeti.

Experience expertly guided game drives in the early morning and late afternoon. You can also request a picnic lunch and enjoy a full day in Serengeti National Park. The primary objective in this context is to witness the Great Migration. During your stay in camp from December to March, you can expect to witness large groups of wildebeest, zebra, and gazelles gathering on the southern short-grass plains, particularly with calving occurring around February. The herds migrate to the Moru Kopjes area during April and May, marking the start of the rutting season. During the months of June to July and August to November, the herds make their way across the Grumeti and Mara rivers. Every drive is led by knowledgeable safari guides, eager to share their insights with you. The Serengeti is home to an incredible variety of wildlife, showcasing, based on where you are, all the big cats, elephants, buffalo, hyenas, jackals, wild dogs, and a remarkable range of antelope species. This property is not enclosed and is situated in a wildlife region, meaning that large and potentially hazardous animals may roam through the area. If you choose to stay here, please remain vigilant while moving around the camp and feel free to ask a staff member to accompany you if you have any worries. It is standard practice to escort any guest after dark.
