Generally speaking, you should decide if you wish to see the quieter southern counterpart or the renowned northern circuit while choosing the correct Tanzania safari. Serengeti National Park belongs on the northern circuit. Time here could be mixed with a couple nights on top of the Ngorongoro Crater to see Tanzania’s quite amazing big-game areas. Alternatively, during your Tanzania safari, you might travel to the southern circuit to see the lovely “off-the-beaten-track” wildlife areas including Ruaha National Park. Of course, you can never go wrong adding some time on Zanzibar for some R&R on those beautiful beaches.
