Your Perfect Safari, Seamlessly Designed.

You cannot leave Africa. It is always with you, there inside your head.

Our Safaris

Our safari kinds are divided into three budgets: best-value safaris, classic safaris, and luxury safaris.

We have classified journeys in our heads into three kinds of safars. A best-value-for-money safari would be the starting point. These are our cheapest tours, running ‘from price’ about £3,500 to £4,500 per person (excluding international flights). Though they are our most common basic luxury experiences, our classic safaris slightly stretch the budget boat. Starting prices for these range from about £6,500 to £7,500 per person. Our luxury category begins with around £9,000 per person.

Especially if, like many of our clients, you are unclear about how much safaris really cost, budget is often a rather uncomfortable topic. Being a luxury safari company, our main emphasis is on all of our safaris being categorized as luxury, whether that means an actual yet rich experience to Zambia and Zimbabwe or the ultra-luxury of Botswana and South Africa.

Below we have elaborated much on the several kinds of safaris we provide; we strongly advise you to glance at our example itineraries. All of our safaris are tailor-made, hence we create trips particularly fit for you.

Traditional Safaris

The most common safaris we offer are our “classic” ones. Those who prefer this kind of travel either feel that our ‘value’ safaris are too daring or that the lodges we utilize in the value category are not quite opulent enough. We begin with the traditional pricing range, where we start to provide some of the most experienced and best-established safari camps and lodges in the business.

What is the price of our classic safaris?

Starting at roughly £6,500 to £7,500 per person, these safaris Often, they feature excellent five-star lodges and camps—places where the quality of guiding, cuisine, and service is rather good. Here is where we employ really opulent hotels run by a few of our most outstanding allies.

What are the characteristics of the properties and what experience can I look forward to?

Our traditional Africa safaris are really excellent safars. At this level, the price guarantees great excursions and once-in-a-lifetime events. The houses themselves are more than comfortable, with big bedrooms, great en-suite amenities, and a genuine emphasis on the hospitality experience as much as the caliber of the safari itself! While the guiding standards are improved as well, the pricing range promises a notable rise in luxury levels above our discount safaris. High standards of lodging and guiding work together to produce a product supported by our usage of Africa’s most-experienced and best-run safari operators.

Our most well-liked classic safaris

All of the classic safars shown here can be customized to fit you, so please keep that in mind. Just get in touch with our professionals to begin the planning process right now.

The big migration and elephant of Tanzania Designed to get you into the center of the herds in Tarangire and the Serengeti, this wildebeest-and-elephant safari is a big-hitter for the wildlife-lover. For classic sights and optimum weather, arrange your travels between July and September.

A journey that highlights the finest of South Africa’s rich culture and safari scenes is Cape Town and the big five. Before getting the opportunity to see Africa’s Big Five in the wildlife-rich Sabi Sands, you will enjoy the amazing views of the bustling Mother City. Both sites we utilize are ideally situated and provide a wide variety of activities.

Kenya’s playground and Big Five viewing – Many consider Kenya to be one great playground because of its mind-boggling variety of things to do. Here, we have maintained one eye on the wildlife and one on activities to produce this excellent introduction to two of our favorite regions, Laikipia and the Maasai Mara.

The greatest of Vic Falls, Chobe and the Delta – Waterfalls and wildlife… Focusing on the Zimbabwean side of “The Falls” as well as Chobe National Park and the Okavango Delta, this Vic Falls and northern Botswana combo Offering great value for money, the safari is a wonderful first-time visit to the area.

Luxury Safariss

Some of the priciest safaris we provide fall inside our “luxury” pricing range. Needless to say, these journeys are first class! Using some of Africa’s greatest properties, they promise very high degrees of comfort, direction, cuisine, and service.

What is the price of our opulent African safaris?

Starting at roughly £9,000 per person, our opulent safaris… some of which rise substantially more than that! Our luxury safaris require consideration not just for the lodging but also for the mode of transportation. When you are travelling between camps, light aircraft transfers are an option – and this choice of transport will certainly enhance your experience by affording spectacular views of the wilderness areas! And, of course, flying cuts down driving time considerably. On another level, the simplicity and efficiency of chartering your own private jet—scheduled to depart at the precise time that fits you for arriving at your next National Park—must be the height of luxury! This method of travel will allow you to cover more ground in less time, while, most importantly, giving you the freedom to encounter the very best of Africa.

If you prefer a more exclusive and personal safari experience, then paying a supplement for a guaranteed private game drive will enable you to have more of an influence on where you explore as well as increased flexibility. You do not have to reach a compromise with other guests on where to go, what to look for, and how long to spend at each sighting. If you have a particular photography or wildlife interest, we can match you with an experienced specialist driver/guide to ensure your requirements are met. Private guided safaris often have no age restrictions as well, so this is a fantastic choice for families! It is worth noting that there are a few camps, such as the Serian properties in the Serengeti and in the Maasai Mara, where a private vehicle is offered as part of the standard package.

What are the properties like and what experience can I expect?

Of course the majority of camps, lodges, and hotels at this price tag are all 5 star and are some of the best properties in Africa. The experiences these properties offer, from the food and service to the sheer quality of your accommodation, is as good as you will find anywhere on the continent! Unless you are staying at an adventurous tented camp, you will find that the properties we use tend to have swimming pools, various locations for meals, and accommodation standards to rival any boutique hotel in London or New York.

One of the biggest differences between our classic and luxury categories is the space that you have in your own room! Many classic properties, albeit superb, have rooms that are little more than places for sleeping. At the luxury level, balconies, terraces, and private plunge pools come as standard, allowing guests to relax privately in the heat of the day.

The guiding standards in properties like this deserve their own special mention. The companies running properties at this price level are sending their guides on extensive training courses – for the guides themselves, this is a big plus point. The resulting levels of guiding are obviously some of the very best!

Our most popular safaris

Please note that all of the luxury safaris below can be tailor-made to suit you. Simply contact our experts to start the planning process here.

Tanzania’s ultimate luxury safari – It might seem a bold claim to say this is Tanzania’s ultimate luxury safari – however, with a night sleeping next to the coffee rows of Arusha, two nights in what has to be Africa’s most ostentatious lodge perched on a crater rim, and four nights in an exceptional Singita property, we think it’s the best!

As luxurious as safari in Kenya gets – Dramatic views from floor-to-ceiling windows, art galleries in bedrooms, and your own personal butler – this really is as luxurious as safari in Kenya gets! It is a very special itinerary, offering the highest levels of luxury and service in Kenya’s Laikipia and Maasai Mara reserves.

Botswana’s Ultimate Luxury – This trip is as lavish and lush as northern Botswana itself! It truly epitomises luxury, using three lodges that we in the office consider some of the greatest lodges in Africa.

Zambia’s hidden luxuries – Most people think of the South Luangwa when it comes to safari in Zambia, but this trip focuses on what we believe are Zambia’s best-kept secrets. The safari involves luxury camps in the lesser-known Lower Zambezi and Kafue National Park. It is perfect for someone wanting to do something a little different while still enjoying a comfortable stay.

Value Safaris

Our ‘value’ safaris include some of the most interesting adventures that we sell. The camps are affordable, great value for money, and have been cherry-picked to give our clients an experience that is reflective of our brand. We are as proud of our value safaris as we are of our most expensive trips!

How much do our value safaris cost?

Our value safaris start at approximately £3,500 to £4,500 per person. This price is based on a +/- ten-night trip, usually with six nights on safari and four days on the beach or in a city (Zanzibar or Cape Town, for example). The key point to remember here is that the more time you spend on safari (as opposed to in a city or on the beach), the more expensive your trip becomes, simply due to the sheer cost of a night on safari. Combining your safari with a few days on the beach or in a city is the best way to keep prices down.

What are the properties like and what experience can I expect?

The value camps we use for these safaris are often more adventurous than they are luxurious. The focus is the adventure of the experience rather than the luxury on offer within our classic and luxury safari categories, which are more expensive. However, it is worth mentioning that we also use a number of 3- and 4-star lodges. The aim, after all, is to offer an adventurous style of trip to those who want it, and a more ‘secure’ version to those who prefer a higher level of comfort on safari!

Of course, for all the properties in our value category, both the game viewing and character in camp are first class. We take pride in our value safaris – whether they use 3- and 4-star lodges or adventurous tented camps, they are as likely to be that holiday of a lifetime for you as any other safari we sell!

So why choose a Adventure In The Wild Safaris type of safari?

Our brand represents good safaris – these are trips that we know can deliver that wow-factor of an experience! We don’t offer the cheapest safaris on the market, and not for a moment would we wish to do this. You will find safaris online at lower prices. All we can say is that we are very good value for the trips we offer – we even give a price guarantee on any trip we sell! – and that our safaris are designed by people with experience of working in Africa, as guides or camp managers.

Africa’s cheap lodges and bargain-basement safari offers are low for a reason – you get what you pay for here! We don’t use mass-market safari hotels or design basic camping trips. As a result, our safaris are authentic, expertly designed adventures that we are proud to sell as part of our brand.

Our specialists are genuine experts, people who have guided these safaris and worked in the camps. There is no better way to start planning your trip than speaking to our specialists about how we can fine-tune your safari.
