These are among the greatest types of safari for solo travelers; they are also excellent for small groups wishing to participate in a more social form of safari as you are with the complete group for the entire trip. Common throughout Africa, these safaris are often an excellent opportunity to see Africa with the top guides at significantly lower costs than using the guide alone.

Privately led, private group safaris

Usually run by the same private guide all through, these private safaris have a group size starting at three up.

This kind of group vacation is strongly advised for groups wanting to engage a private guide either because they want to share the cost of a top guide among all the travelers or because they prefer a guide to manage their every move while in Africa. Many of Africa’s private guides charge a few thousand dollars per day, making this expense a far more reasonable way to visit.

Safari in private lodges

The last group choice is for the length of your visit to have whole lodge privately used.
